Foreign Language Book Series

Pascal & Luna are the second foreign language activity books and Primary Years Program – PYP. It contains topics that can easily be integrated into the themes of the program. Since the topics in the books are not divided into units, they can easily be related to the curriculum of other groups on a topic-by-topic basis.

By the help of the feature, the teacher does not have to follow the book pages individually while creating her/his annual plan.
There is a lesson plan available to help the teacher when creating the lesson plan.

Pascal & Luna is an interactive website for children;

book viewing Pages, word/text/dialogue, listening, watching videos, picture/label placement, multiple-choice exercises, writing exercises, and crossword puzzles all you want, such as to the contents of the printed books and you can easily access it from a phone, a tablet or a computer. Children can send their completed interactive work to their teacher or parent by e-mail.

Determining book levels are based on language criteria in CEFR-Common European Languages Framework Program achievements.
The content of the German-French-Spanish books are the same, but the appropriate images and words have been used according to the cultural characteristics and differences of the book's language
While children learn a foreign language, they also adopt attitudes that will make them citizens of the world development. For this reason, the "e-Bonus" which is under preparation on our website with part; children not only learn about the culture of the foreign languages they also learn about the culture that belongs to other languages. Preschool Books

The activity books prepared for preschool children are designed with fine motor skills activities, aiming for children to learn a foreign language not by formal lessons but through enjoyable activities.

1ST GRADE BOOKS (FOR CHILDREN LEARNING TO READ AND WRITE)

To minimize the difficulties that children experience in the classroom environment while learning to read and write, the activities and exercises in the first semester primarily focus on developing two basic skills: listening comprehension and speaking.
For children in the process of learning to read and write, emphasis is placed on visual reading, vocabulary, short sentence copying, and reading exercises.
In Pascal & Luna 1, the goal is to introduce the four basic language skills in a second foreign language and to provide preparatory training for reading and writing.

2ND GRADE BOOKS

In Pascal & Luna 2, the focus is on enabling children to use all four basic language skills. Emphasis is placed on completing short sentences and reading exercises relevant to each topic, along with activities for listening comprehension and speaking, using familiar words and vocabulary.

3RD GRADE BOOKS

Pascal & Luna 3 aims to develop children’s use of the four basic language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) and includes age-appropriate content designed to support early language learning.
At this level, learners can understand and use very basic expressions and simple sentences related to everyday life and concrete needs, in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The books focus on building vocabulary, simple sentence structures, and basic communication skills through structured and engaging activities.

4TH GRADE BOOKS

Pascal & Luna 4 continues to focus on the four basic language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) and includes content that further strengthens children’s language competence.
At this level, learners can communicate in simple and routine tasks that require a basic and direct exchange of information on familiar topics, following the CEFR guidelines.
The books encourage children to express themselves more confidently, understand short texts, and participate in simple conversations related to everyday situations.
